School

Here is Dawn's school picture. I can't believe she's already in first grade. She's growing up so fast! This is her picture for fall.

Dawn's Dance

We got Dawn's dance pictures back. She was SO cute! There are a few more girls in her class but they couldn't be there for the picture. But this is Devin, Dawn and Ashley (l-r). They are all so cute to watch each week.

Dawn and Santa

Dance recital

Dawn had her first tap dance recital tonight. She was SO cute. They danced to Santa Claus Lane. She's the tall one that stands out in the middle, she's not even the oldest in the class.

All dressed up

We went to see Santa today and Dawn had to have her picture taken before we went. I will try to put up the Santa pictures too. But for now here's Dawn all ready to see Santa.

New Orleans

Ok so it isn't the New Orleans in Louisiana but Disney has done a nice job of decorating New Orleans square for Christmas. The sun was at just the right position to ruin any picture I took so this was the best we got. It's gorgeous.

Disneyland

We went to Disneyland today and of course Dawn had to pose with Mickey in front of DCA.

Turkeys

Ok so for anyone who was wondering if the Presidential "pardoned" turkeys were real - they are!! These huge turkeys are really living at Disneyland. These guys are enough to have dinner for at least a month!

New Family

Aaron became Connor and the newest addition to this family. Karlea, Don, Connor and Matthew. We love you all so much and know you will give our boy the best in the world. Thank you.

Precious Moments

Holding onto those last precious moments outside the hospital with our baby boy Aaron before he becomes someone else's precious angel.

Awake and alert!

Baby and doctor

Dr. Hagadorn, the best doctor in the world! He delivered Aaron.

Bonding Time

My mom, Grandma Cheryl spent a lot of time at the hospital with me, before and after Aaron was born. Lots of love and help!

Newborn baby boy

This little bundle of joy was born November 21, 2006 at 2:20 pm. Aaron Barwinski weighed 9 lbs 13 oz and was 22 inches. The labor and pain will never compare to the joy of bringing a new life into the world, it was definitely worth it.

Family at Disney

The family at Disneyland. Me, my sister Tiffany, my brother Joey, my daughter Dawn, and my nephews Christopher and Dominick. Disneyland is the best place to be!

Navy Pier

Brian and I spent the day on the Navy Pier in Chicago after he graduated from boot camp. I am so proud of him! Again with the uniform! Such a man!

Navy Graduation

Brian graduated from Navy bootcamp in July. Somewhere in the sea of white is Brian. For a close up, here he is on his first phone call after two months. Something about a man in uniform!

First Day

This was the day our lives changed, ok changed again. When we knew we were going to have a baby and had made the decision to adopt it out we knew each step we took from there would be difficult. The day we met Don and Karlea was difficult but we knew we had made the right decision. From that day on they made the situation easier to cope with. Thank you both.

Goofing Around

Prior to leaving for the Navy, we had a big party at the beach for Brian. Orange soda and nerf football, always good clean fun to be had!!

Where's Boo?

Brian is a child at heart. His nickname of "Boo" is one way to bring that childish nature out. A trip to Disneyland will do it for just about anyone though. I still don't think Brian has realized Boo is the name of the little girl in Monsters, Inc, not one of the monsters!

Brian and Dawn

Brian has always been a wonderful person and an even better person to kids. Every moment he spent with Dawn was amazing for both of them. Even though my Dawn is not his, he treats her like she is. He is a great man with a lot of love in his heart.

Time Together

Brian and I have always found time to enjoy each others company. From walking around the lake to cheering on the Angels in Anaheim, fun is never far away!

Proud Parents

It was a very difficult day, but inside the smiles are real. We share a few moments together, blotchy eyes and all.
